School Tour

This year for our school tour we went to Loughwell Pet Farm.
We had a really nice journey on the bus
which brought us all the way through Galway City.
When we arrived we met Ailbhe who was going to look after us all day.
First of all she brought us to the indoor play area.
We all loved the giant slide.
It was fun and scary at the same time.

Next we tried out Crazy Golf.
We were glad that we had our golf lessons a few weeks earlier.

Then we moved to the Obstacle Course.
We had a relay race where we had to jump over objects, climb and balance.

Finally we got to see some of the animals.
We got to stroke the goat.
She was so soft.

The baby rabbits were so cute.
Some of us wanted to bring them home.

As we walked around we saw sheep and lambs and very lazy pigs.
We also saw hens, a duck, a big turkey and some sleepy donkeys and horses.

When we went inside again we played with the Giant Lego.
(We definitely need some of this for our classroom.)

We also did some bowling
and we definitely have some bowling experts in the class.

Before our lunch we flew around on the tiny cars.
They were so fast.

 Finally, time to eat.

Once we had eaten our lunch we headed outside for the last time.
There were a few different activities that we all could try.
There was a Zip Line, a Carriage Ride and a Tractor Train.

Finally, here is Ailbhe who looked after us so well all along with our own Ailbhe.
We really had a brilliant day.
