Elves to the Rescue

For our Christmas concert First and Second class got together to do a musical play called Elves to the Rescue. It was about a poor shoemaker and his family and some very kind elves who helped them to have a happy Christmas.

Here is the youngest daughter.
This is the Grocer man.
We also have lots of hardworking elves.

Turoe Pet Farm

Just before Christmas Junior and Senior Infants and First and Second class headed off to Turoe Pet Farm. The day started well for First class when they got to sit on the top deck of a double decker bus! At the pet farm we spent time and lots of energy in Inflatable City. Even Mr Holland was spotted at the top of the giant slide. Mrs Keane was saving her energy for Christmas shopping. After that we visited the animals and even sang a song. The animals were delighted to see us coming with food and equally delighted to see us going after hearing our singing. Then we had something to eat and after that we tried out Jungle Town. Finally it was time to get back on the bus and enjoy the view all the way home.
