Literacy Lift Off

We started an exciting new literacy programme called Literacy Lift Off, we also call it Power Hour. In these sessions Mrs. Magnier, Mrs. Wall and Ms. Kyne join us and we spend eight minutes at every station. The stations are new reading with Mrs. Magnier, familiar reading with Ms. Kyne, phonic games with Crona, writing with Mrs. Wall, magnetic boards with Ms. Fahy and ipads which is an independent station. Our reading, writing and oral language is improving with each session. It's also great fun.

Presenting Our Projects

We are getting better and better at working together to create projects and share the information with others. We learned about different modes of transport, spiders, tornadoes, bones, skin and different animals. We learn so much from each other during these sessions. We are also becoming increasingly confident presenting in front of the whole class. 

Art with Ana- the finished products

Have a look at some of the finished products from our super art sessions with Ana. We made rockets, weapons, submarines, fairy tale castles,  mobiles, a shark and even the three little pigs. What a creative bunch! We would like to say a massive thank you to Ana for all her wonderful help.

Gymnastics

Gymnastics incorporate strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power and discipline. It's also lots of fun. Here we are performing partner poses. We had lots of fun working together to perfect the pose.
