St Bridget's Crosses

For St Bridget's Day we made crosses.

We used paper instead of rushes.

We have been learning about St Bridget

and the story of her cloak.

 

Planting Bulbs

We planted hyacinth bulbs - some in water and some in soil.

 

Look how much the roots have grown!

 

Paper Cutting

We used a little coloured paper

and a lot of imagination to create some lovely pictures.

 

First Daffodils

During the cold weather it's nice to see colourful daffodils

to remind us that Spring is on the way.
