Baboró

We had a great day at Baboró. The day started with a trip to the playground in Doughiska where we had loads of fun on slides, climbing frames, zip wires and much more. We had our snack in the sunshine before heading to "A History of Play" workshop in the Galway Arts Centre. Next up was lunch in the Millennium Children's Playground. We finished the day with a visit to the Sky Dome in NUIG. 

Maths Eyes

Last week was Maths Week. We used our "maths eyes" to find examples of maths around the school. We took pictures of numbers, shapes, patterns and maths games. Maths Week was great fun, we played lots of games and created art based on shapes inspired by the artist Kandinsky. 

Baking with Crona

We love baking with Crona. We know how to be safe in the kitchen. We can prepare, weigh, sieve, mix and beat the ingredients. We can also explain the procedure we follow. Recently we baked chocolate chip cookies and ginger biscuits.
