Friendship Week

A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be.

We really enjoyed our recent Friendship Week. We talked about the importance of being a good friend and made secret friendship cards. We picked a name out of a hat and wrote lovely cards for our secret friends. We also made friendship bracelets for secret friends. We thought about colours and patterns that our friend would like. Finally we made a friendship garden. Every child decorated a circle for the centre of the flower, then we wrote lovely words to describe people on petals and gave them to our friends to decorate their flowers. When we put all of the flowers together they made a beautiful friendship garden.
