Budding Artists

We looked at the work of Vincent Van Gogh. We found the life of Van Gogh very interesting. He enjoyed painting self portraits and completed his first painting at the age of 27. Although he is now considered one of the greatest artists that ever lived Van Gogh only sold one painting during his lifetime, The Red Vineyard. He created about 900 paintings in just ten years. We looked at two of his well known paintings, Sunflowers and Starry Night. We went to the garden and looked at the sunflower then recreated Van Gogh's beautiful painting.
